Effective June 1, 2024, the CPSC (Consumer Products Safety Commission) Commissioners voted 4-0 to approve a Final Rule for Custom Window Coverings. The major changes of this ruling are the elimination of all free hanging operating cords, free hanging tilt cords, cord connectors and the use of continuous cord loop operating systems on all products.
